2. What data do I process?

I only process data that is necessary to help you, such as your name, email address, phone number, address and the content of your question or assignment.

3. Why do I process that data?

I use your data for these purposes:

  • to answer your question and contact you;
  • to perform and follow up IT services;
  • to correctly process invoices and administration;
  • to comply with legal obligations.

4. On what legal basis?

  • performance of an agreement or pre-contractual request;
  • legal obligation, for example accounting;
  • legitimate interest, for example the secure operation of the website.

5. With whom do I share data?

I only share your data with parties that are necessary for the service, such as hosting or IT suppliers and accounting processors. I make the necessary agreements with processors.

6. How long do I keep data?

I do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose of processing and in accordance with legal retention periods, such as tax and accounting obligations.

7. Website analytics

After you consent, I use Umami, a privacy-friendly and self-hosted analytics tool, for visited pages, referrers, browser type, device type, country, technical performance, campaign data and conversion actions. I do not collect names, email addresses, form content or other directly identifying data. Analytics are processed through my own Umami installation at umami.nyffels.be.

With separate consent, heatmaps collect only aggregated click and scroll patterns. I do not use session replay or screen recordings and do not send free text or directly identifying data to Umami. I respect your browser's Do Not Track setting.

8. What rights do you have?

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and transfer your data.

9. Filing a complaint

If you believe that I do not handle your data correctly, you can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
